Who is the organizer of CIMEA?

Christ For Africa Universe is a Christian non-profit organization with current headquarters in Douala, Cameroon. Our team has been actively engaged in non-profit community activities spanning all three Northern regions of Cameroon since the start of the millenium, and currently impacting communities in Central Africa.  Although our activities are motivated by Christian values, our projects benefit all community members irrespective of religion or gender.

CFAU Foundation works within three areas of focus that help in the realization of its mission and vision within the context of the current challenges facing Cameroon and Africa as a whole. We also realize that while the Government  is playing their role in development, the private sector has the obligation to play its own role to ensure that positive change is real and permanent. Religion (Christianity in particular) has a key role to play in influencing the path of Africa's future. Activities carried out by CFAU fall under three domains:

  • Religion
  • Education
  • Community Development (Social programs)

The Flagship program of Christ For Africa Universe Foundation is Christ For Africa University, a Church-based university institute setup within the framework of Christ For Africa Universe's educational programs.

Our currently running programs/projects include:

  • The Christ For Africa University project
  • The Good Samaritan Bilingual elementary school project
  • The EDUCPT Project
  • The CIMEA annual international conference project
  • The Childrens' - Ministry - Monitor' Project
  • DARES Network Program
  • The Good Samaritan Orphan Care Program
  • MINPAVI Community projects
  • Annual Community farming program
  • Annual 'Good Samaritan Day' program,
  • and other Social projects in the North of Cameroon

Many of our projects run as programs due to their annual recurring activity cycles.

The CIMEA Conference is a concept of "CHRIST FOR AFRICA UNIVERS" Foundation (CFAU Foundation) within the scope of its Religious program (DARES Network) and Educational program (Christ For Africa University).

DARES Network Program

DARES is the French acronym for Religious Programs Administration. The  DARES network program brings together Christian organizations and churches to network and carry out collaborative planned activities that foster the unity between various Christian churches and organizations, thereby promoting unified positions on various religious and social issues, increasing the reach, participation, and impact of important Christian programs and projects within various communities.

Christ For Africa University

Our flagship program, Christ For Africa University, was founded in 2009 by Rev. Dr Andre Bidao, who, together with other Bible Scholars formed a teaching team in the North of Cameroon and formed a church-based Bible School named "Centre de Formation Theologique Bon Samaritan (CFTBS)" (The Good Samaritan Theological Training Centre).

With the roots of the school growing deeper and deeper every year, and the educational team growing from strength to strength (with the commitment of Doctors in various disciplines of Christian studies), the school partnered with international institutions like Promise Christian University in providing improved associate and affiliate learning opportunities for bible students in Cameroon.

Crucial collaborations led by Dr Andre Bidoa with Integrity Seminary in the USA, Instituto Epicentro Monterrey in Mexico, and Christ For the Nations Institute in the USA, confirmed the maturity of the bible school's educational vision and curriculum, culmulating in the promulgation of CFTBS into a full university. Christ For Christ For Africa University (CFAU) was born under the umbrella of a new found christian organization, Christ For Africa Universe, comprised of christian scholars, church leaders, and community leaders with strong christian backgrounds. (Please see Appendix 1 for a list of partners of CFAU)

Christ For Africa University's methodologies are set up  to cater for the needs of a fast moving theological educational system. The university has a mission to train  individuals  to  become  world  class  missionaries,  pastors,  educators  and  teachers.

Our motto, "Know God to Serve Him Better", is mirrored in all aspects of our teachings, processes, and curriculum. We strive to maximize limited resources, funneling these resources into processes that ensure our scholars receive the foundation necessary to make an extra impact in their communities.

CFAU  is now a member of Christ For The Nations Association of Bible Schools with headquarters in the USA. As of 2019 Christ For Africa University has further been granted complete international accreditation status by Christ ForThe Nations Association of Bible Schools, with our certificates, diplomas and degrees now officially recognised by over 130 bible universities around the world.

Sustainable self-reliant leadership

Christ For Africa University aims to consistently remain a credible source and outlet through which advancements are made in Bible Curriculum and Theology worldwide, but also with specific projected impact within African communities. Within the context of our African background, we aim to train church leaders that are not only equipped with God's word, but also with socio-economic vocational skills that empower them to become economically self-reliant, with minimum dependence on funds from their church communities which are predominantly low income communities.
